What do you do for a living?

I work for Nationwide Insurance as technical lead that supports a team of data entry processors.

What is your role as a ministry leader?

I serve the church by sending out weekly communications regarding upcoming services and events. I also work with the elders to communicate important updates regarding membership meetings, community life groups, and other opportunities for members to serve at Grace Life Church.

What is your testimony of faith in Christ?

Although I had prayed to receive Christ as a young child, it wasn’t until my sophomore year in high school that I began to really understand and apply the message of the Gospel to my life. I had participated in a short-term missions trip to the Rosebud Indian reservation in South Dakota, and it was there that I began to see how the Gospel changes lives and brings glory to God. Though there have been many ups and downs since that summer, God has proven His faithfulness time and time again.

Family?

I have been married to my beautiful wife, Julia, since 2016.

Where are you from?

I am originally from the Des Moines area. My family had a house in the Beaverdale neighborhood, which is a short distance away from Drake University

What are some of your hobbies and interests?

Landscape photography is a passion of mine, so my wife and I love to travel and go on hikes (especially if we can visit a new National Park). I also love to cook and enjoy watching movies.
