What is your testimony of faith in Christ?
I was blessed to grow up within a family that knows and loves the Lord, and was taught the holy scriptures from childhood. At a young age the Holy Spirit brought me to conviction of my sin before God and opened my eyes to the beauty of reconciliation and justification found in Jesus Christ, who from that point on I professed as my Savior and greatest love, and I was baptized at eight years old. As a teenager, I was confronted by an atheist who meant to shake my faith by telling me to “question everything” — in turn, this wound up being a phrase that wrung in my ears to push me deeper into truly knowing the reality of Christ, and not just taking for granted what I had always believed; my faith was strengthened as I leaned into God for answers and learned not just to question, but to “test all things; hold fast what is good” (1 Thes. 5:21). I thank God for the continued growth, confidence, and peace I have found in knowing Him and the power of His resurrection.
